How much does a fence cost in San Antonio?

Are your estimates free?
Yes. We measure on site and provide a clear written estimate at no cost.
Do you remove and haul away my old fence?
Yes. Removal of most wood, chain-link, and metal fencing is listed as a separate line item.
How long does a fence installation take?
It depends on the job. Small repairs can take about an hour, while full installs can take up to a few days. We'll give you a time estimate when we quote.
How deep do you set fence posts?
24–36 inches deep, set in concrete.
Do you offer metal (steel) fence posts?
Yes. Galvanized steel posts resist rot and clay movement. See metal post installation.
What’s the difference between side-by-side and board-on-board?
Side-by-side pickets sit edge to edge; board-on-board overlaps them for full privacy. See board-on-board fences.
Cedar or pine?
Cedar resists rot and warps less; pine costs less. See cedar fences.
Do I need a permit for a fence in San Antonio?
We typically handle permits for you.
How tall can my fence be?
In San Antonio, six feet is the common maximum for side and rear yards, with lower limits in front yards. HOAs and other cities set their own rules.
Can you build to my HOA’s requirements?

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Full fence replacements include our 1-year craftsmanship (workmanship) warranty. Repairs and other partial work are not covered by that warranty. FRAMEIT ALL composite fencing also carries a 30-year manufacturer warranty from FRAMEIT ALL, subject to its registration and terms. See our warranty page.
